Mr. Andrew Hugh Brown, "Downtown Brown" , "Mr. Hugh B", "Buddy", age 97, passed away on Saturday,

February 8, 2020 in Vidant Bertie Hospital in Windsor, NC.  He was a long time employee

of Corey Home Center in Williamston, NC. He was also a member of Back Swamp Church of Christ (DOC) in

Williamston, NC.

Survivors include a son, Jerome Brown of Raleigh, NC; a daughter, Colette B. Slade

of Williamston, NC and three grandchildren.

His viewing will be held on Friday, February 14, 2020 from 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm at Manson Mortuary

in Williamston, NC and on Saturday, February 15, 2020 from 11:00 am until 12 noon at Back Swamp Church

of Christ (DOC) in Williamston, NC.

His funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at 12 noon at Back Swamp Church of Christ

(DOC), 1414 Bear Grass Road in Williamston, NC with Pastor Derrick L. Wilkins officiating.

Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery in Williamston, NC.
