Williamston, NC Mr. Arthur Brown, 76, passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2015 in Vidant Medical Center. Mr. Brown was born in Martin County. He was a member of Back Swamp Church of Christ (DOC) in Williamston, NC. Survivors include his wife, Mollie C. Brown of Williamston, NC; one son, Bernard L. Brown (Nancy C. Brown) of Greenville, NC; one daughter, Jill D. Brown of Williamston, NC; four brothers, Robert Earl Brown "Jump" of Williamston, NC, James Melvin Brown "Snooky" of Williamston, NC, William Nelson Brown "Jukestick" of Williamston, NC, and Jimmy Ray Brown of Roanoke Rapids, NC; one sister, Dorothy B. Wilder of Williamston, NC; and one grandchild Carleana Brown. A visitation will be held from 1-5 pm on Friday, May 1, 2015 at Manson Mortuary, Williamston, NC and from 10-11 am on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at Back Swamp Church of Christ (DOC) in Williamston, NC. The funeral will be held at 11 am on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at Back Swamp Church of Christ (DOC) in Williamston, NC with Pastor Derrick L. Wilkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Hickory Grove Cemetery in Williamston, NC.
