Williamston, NC Mr Berlie B. Baker, 84, passed away on September 4, in Martin General Hospital. Mr. Baker was born in Martin County. He was a Coal Yard laborer. Survivors include his brothers; Herman Brooks of California, Alton Baker II of Chesapeake, Va and Maurice Baker of Greensboro, NC; two sisters, Willie Mae Pope of Bronx, NY and Merion Anderson of Plymouth, NC. The memorial service is scheduled for Tuesday, September 13, 2011 at 1:00 pm.
