Clinton Rudolph Williams, Sr. passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2022, at the Jewish Home for Rehabilitation and Nursing, Freehold, New Jersey. Clinton “Snook/Snookie/Snoot” Williams, Sr. was born October 5, 1935, in Williamston, Martin County, North Carolina to the late Allen Williams and Bessie Roberson Williams. Clinton moved to Newark, New Jersey at a young age where he met and married Burnestine Seays. He retired from Brockway Glass as a Machine Operator. Clinton is survived by his children, daughter LaVette Williams Fearrington, Freehold, New Jersey, daughter Lorna Williams Murphy and her husband Johnnie Murphy, Sr., Conyers, Georgia, son Clinton Rudolph Williams, Jr., and daughter Laci Williams, Freehold, New Jersey; and three grandsons, Johnnie Murphy, Jr. (Shanae), Johnathan Murphy (Dana), Jharren Williams-Gregory; and one granddaughter Jordan Fearrington; one great-granddaughter Kendall Murphy and one great-grandson Phoenix Murphy; and his brother, James Pete Williams, Williamston, North Carolina; and a host of nieces and nephews. The viewing will be held on Friday, December 2, 2022, from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. at Manson Mortuary, 415 Washington Street, Williamston, North Carolina. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Mount Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, 205 N. Elm Street, Williamston, North Carolina. His interment will be at the Williams Family Cemetery, Allen Williams Road, Williamston, North Carolina. Repast will be held at Mt Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, 205 N. Elm Street, Williamston, North Carolina. The Family thanks everyone for all acts of kindness during this difficult time.
