Deford Rodgers

Mr. Deford Rodgers age 82, passed away on Monday, July 31, 2023 at Martin General Hospital in

Williamston NC. He was a member of Believers Fellowship Conference Center Williamston, NC.

He was a former recreational girls softball coach for many years.

His survivors include one son, Victor Rodgers of Washington, NC; three daughters, Natasha

Evet Joe of Covington. GA, Cynthia R. Mooring and Regina R. Parker of Williamston, NC;

one brother, Timothy Rodgers, Sr. of Williamston, NC; five sisters, Celia R. Brown, Betty

R. Little, and Rosa Rodgers all of Williamston, NC, Clothilda Brown of Raleigh, NC and

Mildred Jones of Nashville, NC; fourteen grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

His walk through viewing will be held on Saturday,  August 5, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. until

6:00 p.m. at Manson Mortuary in Williamston, NC.

His funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 6, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Cedar Hill

Missionary Baptist Church in Williamston, NC with Rev. Rick Carson serving as eulogist.

His interment will immediately follow the service in Rodgers Family Cemetery in Williamston, NC
