Williamston, NC Ms. Diana Marie Griffin Everett, 58, passed away on Thursday, September 11, 2014 at home. Ms. Everett was born in Martin County. She was a member of Back Swamp Church of Christ (DOC). Survivors include one son, Troy Everett of Rocky Mount, NC; four brothers, Leslie (Bob) Griffin of Irvington, NJ, Jimmy Griffin of Williamston, NC, Frankie Griffin of Williamston, NC, and Danny Griffin of Williamston, NC; six sisters, Ossie Duggins of Williamston, NC, Judy Whitfield of Williamston, NC, Jeanette Griffin of Williamston, NC, Wanda G. Battle of Williamston, NC, Pamela G. Brown of Williamston, NC, and Paula Griffin of Greenville, NC; three grandchildren and one great grandchild. A visitation will be held from 1-5 pm on Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at Manson Mortuary, NC and from 1-2 pm on Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at Back Swamp Church of Christ (DOC) in Williamston, NC. The funeral will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at Back Swamp Church of Christ (DOC) in Williamston, NC with Elder Derrick L. Wilkins, officiating. Burial will follow in the Tyner Family Cemetery in Williamston, NC.
