Williamston, NC Mrs. Dorothy M. Brown, 70, passed away on Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at Vidant Inpatient Hospice. Mrs. Brown was born in Martin County. She was a member of Profound Truth Ministries. Survivors include her husband, Robert Brown of Williamston, NC; two sons, Darrell Brown of Louisburg, NC and Wayland Brown of Durham, NC; two daughters, Natalie B. Wiggins of Williamston, NC and Vanessa Brown-Moore of Raleigh, NC; three brothers, Thomas Moore of Sickerville, NJ, David Moore of Williamston, NC and Melvin Moore of Williamston, NC; two sisters, Annie Barksdale of Williamston, NC and Barbara Moore of Raleigh, NC; ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren. A visitation will be held from 1-5 pm on Friday, June 7, 2013 at Manson Mortuary, Williamston, NC and from 12 Noon to 1 pm on Saturday, June 8, 2013 at Back Swamp Church of Christ (DOC) in Williamston, NC. The funeral will be held at 1 pm on Saturday, June 8, 2013 at Back Swamp Church of Christ (DOC) in Williamston, NC with Pastor Derrick L. Wilkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Williamston, NC.
