Mr. Edward O. Jones, age 77, passed away at his home on February 4, 2018.

Mr. Jones was born in Martin County and was a member of Bethlehem

AME Zion Church in Williamston, NC.

Survivors are his wife, Gloria James Jones of Williamston, NC; three daughters,

Viveca Jones-Gilliam of Windsor, NC, Vivienne Jones-Baker of

NewPort News, VA and Beatrice Jones-Gorham of Jamesville, NC; three

sisters; Ruth Jones-Williams of Boston, MA, Jane Jones-Farrar of Boston,

MA and Vertie Jones-Thompson of Oxon Hill, MD; six grandchildren and three

great-grand-children.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, February 8, 2018 from 1:00 pm until 7:00 pm at

Manson Mortuary in Williamston, NC and at the end of the service on Friday.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, February 9, 2018 at 11:00 am at

Bethlehem AME Zion Church in Williamston, NC with Rev. Adrian Wyrick, II

serving as the eulogist.

Interment will follow in the Whitley Family Cemetery in Williamston, NC.
