Elijah Sheppard, Jr.

Mr. Elijah Sheppard, Jr. "Pete", age 76, passed away on August 10, 2021 in Prince William

Novant Hospital in Manassas, VA.

He was a member of Green Memorial Church of Christ (DOC) Church in Williamston, NC.

His survivors include two sons, Elijah Sheppard, III of Greenville, NC and Derrick Sheppard of

Texarkana, TX; one daughter, Sandra Speller of Windsor, NC; one brother, William Sheppard

of Rembert, SC; two sisters, Zellene Laney of Chesapeake, VA and Ellen Sheppard Emanuel

of Williamston, NC; ten grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.

His walk through viewing will be held on Monday, August 16, 2021 from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm

at Manson Mortuary in Williamston, NC.  A face covering is mandatory upon entrance to the building.

Another walk through viewing will be held one hour before the service at Green Memorial Church of Christ (DOC) Church

in Williamston, NC.  A face covering is mandatory upon entrance to the church.

His funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at 11:00 am Green Memorial Church of Christ (DOC)

Church in Williamston, NC with Pastor Lester Mitchell officiating. A face covering is mandatory upon entrance to the church.

Interment will immediately follow the service in Andrews Memorial Park in Williamston, NC.
