Williamston, NC Mrs. Elizabeth Hassell Brown, 100, passed away on Saturday, April 13, 2013. Mrs. Brown was born in Martin County. She was a member of Cedar Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Williamston, NC. Survivors include one daughter, Artensay B. White of Williamston, NC; a reared granddaughter, Delois B. Jones of Williamston, NC; 13 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren. A visitation will be held from 1-5 p.m. on Friday, April 19, 2013 at Manson Mortuary, Williamston, NC and at the end of the service on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at Cedar Hill Missionary Baptist Church. The funeral will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at Cedar Hill Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Roy Gray officiating. Burial will follow in the Hassell Cemetery in Williamston, NC.
