Mrs. Emma Williams Bunch, 85, passed away on Thursday, September 17, 2015 in Vidant Bertie Hospital.
Mrs. Bunch was born in Bertie County. She was a member of Back Swamp Church of Christ (DOC) in Williamston, NC.
Survivors include three sons, Dr. Michael Bunch of Greenville, NC, Maurice Bunch of Chesapeake, VA, and Brian Bunch of Winston-Salem, NC; one daughter, Carolyn Bunch of Windsor, NC and a foster daughter, Alyce Purcell of New Port News, VA; two brothers, Herbert Williams of Windsor, NC and James Williams of Bronx, NY; five sisters, Roberta Clark of Philadelphia, PA, Corine Rascoe of Long Island, NY, Josephine Benson of Va Beach, VA, Arlene Taylor of Bronx, NY and Mary Jean Ruffin of Richmond, VA; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held from 1-6 pm on Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at Manson Mortuary, Williamston, NC and from 1-2:00 pm on Thursday, September 24, 2015 at Back Swamp Church of Christ (DOC) in Williamston, NC.
The funeral will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, September 24, 2015 at Back Swamp Church of Christ (DOC) in Williamston, NC with Elder Dr. Derrick L. Wilkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Back Swamp Church Cemetery in Williamston, NC.
