Ethel Raye Peele, age 72, passed away on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 in Vidant Medical Center in

Greenville, NC. She was a member of Smithwick Chapel Church of Christ (DOC) Church in

Williamston, NC.

Her survivors include a son, Darius Peele of Northern Virginia; a daughter, Tryphenia

Peele-Eady of Rio Rancho, NM; one sister, Betty Faye Daniels of Valencia, CA; one grandson,

Darius T. Peele, II and one great-grandson, Noah R. Peele.

Her walk through viewing will be held on Monday, August 9, 2021 from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm at Manson

Mortuary in Williamston, NC. Another viewing will be held on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 from 11:00 am

until 12 noon at Smithwick Chapel Church of Christ (DOC) Church in Williamston, NC. A face covering

is required upon entry to the building.

Her funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at 12 noon at Smithwick Chapel Church of

Christ (DOC) Church in Williamston, NC with Bishop William T. Collins officiating.

A face covering is required upon entry to the building.

Her interment will immediately follow the service in Woodlawn Cemetery in Williamston, NC.
