Jamesville, NC Mrs. Eva L. James, 80 died on Friday, July 15, 2011 at Duke University Hospital. Mrs. James was born in Martin County and was a retired insurance agent. She was a member of Back Swamp Church of Christ (DOC) Church. Survivors are a son, Stephen L. James of Wadesboro, NC; daughters, Marva Walker of El Centro, CA, Mary Williams of Greenville, NC, Alice J. Riddick of Littleton, NC, Nellie W. Lewis of Greenville, NC and Edith M. James of East Orange, NJ. A walk-through viewing will be held on Friday, July 22, 2011 from 1-5 pm at Manson Mortuary, Williamston, NC and from 6-8 pm at Back Swamp Church of Christ (DOC) in Williamston, NC. Service is Saturday, July 23, 2011 at Washington-Norfolk Assembly Headquarters, Jamesville, NC at 1:00 pm. with Elder Derrick L. Wilkins officiating. Burial will follow in Union Town Church of Christ Cemetery, Jamesville, NC.
