Evelyn Louise (Swimpson) Trapp

Evelyn Trapp, age 82, passed away on April 21, 2022 at her home in Williamston, NC.

She was a Deaconess at Bethlehem AME Zion Church in Williamston, NC.

Her survivors include two daughters, Sharon Walker and Kimberly Trapp of Williamston, NC; a son,

Tyrone Elijah II of Greenville, NC; a sister, Janice Lanier of Williamston, NC; a brother, James Swimpson

of Silver Spring, MD; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Her walk through viewing will be held on Friday, April 29, 2022 from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm at

Manson Mortuary in Williamston, NC. A face covering is recommended upon entrance to the

building.

Another viewing will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2022 from 11:00 am until 12 noon at Williams

Chapel AME Zion Church in Williamston, NC.

Her funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at 12 noon at Williams Chapel AME

Zion Church in Williamston with Jawara K. Lumumba serving as the eulogist.

Interment will immediately follow the service in Whitley cemetery in Williamston, NC.

The family is receiving friends at the home of Kimberly Trapp.  Her address is 1460 West Islands

Road, Williamston, NC  27892.
