Floyd Eugene Peele, Sr

Williamston, NC Mr. Floyd Eugene Peele Sr., 81, passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2013 in Vidant Medical Center. Mr. Peele was born in Martin County. He was a member of Barnabus Baptist Church in Williamston, NC. Survivors include his wife, Lorrine Peele (Williamston, NC); three sons, Brent Peele (Columbia, SC), Dallas Peele (Williamston, NC), and Floyd Peele, Jr. (Davie, FL); one daughter, Sandra Hassell (Williamston, NC); three brothers, Howard E. Peele (Brooklyn, NY), Julius Peele (Cary, NC), and James Peele (Columbia, SC); five sisters, Louise P. White (Brooklyn, NY), Lealer P. Johnson (Salisbury, MD), Everlois P. Williams (District Heights, MD), Lossie P. Mills (Baltimore, MD), and Bernice Peele (Brooklyn, NY); nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren. A visitation will be held from 1-6 p.m. on Friday, March 15, 2013 at Manson Mortuary in WIlliamston, NC. The funeral will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at Barnabus Baptist Church in Williamston, NC. Viewing will be held at the end of the service. Burial will follow in the Peele Family Cemetery in Williamston, NC.
