Williamston, NC Mr. George W. Rodgers, 93, passed away on Saturday, May 17, 2014 at home. Mr. Rodgers was born in Martin County. He was a member of Back Swamp Church of Christ (DOC). Survivors include on brother, Cortez Rodgers of Philadelphia, PA, one sister, Della Little of Williamston, NC and two grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 23, 2014 from 1-6 pm at Manson Mortuary, Inc. and on Saturday, May 24, 2014 from 10:00 am--11:00 am at Back Swamp Church of Christ (DOC) Church in Williamston, NC. There will be no viewing at the end of the service. The funeral will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2014 at 11:00 am at Back Swamp Church of Christ (DOC) in Williamston, NC with Elder Derrick L. Wilkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Gorham Family Cemetery in Williamston, NC
