Williamston, NC Mr. George Melvin Savage, 74, passed away on Thursday, November 21, 2013 at Vidant Medical Center. Mr. Savage was born in Eastville, Virginia. He was a member of Popular Point Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors include wife, Mary B. Savage of Williamston, NC; one son, Ronald N. Savage of Morrisville, NC; one daughter, Rhonda Y. Savage of Williamston, NC; and one grandchild. A visitation will be held from 1-5 pm on Monday, November 25, 2013 at Manson Mortuary, Williamston, NC and from 11 am to 12 Noon on Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at Popular Point Missionary Baptist Church in Williamston, NC. The funeral will be held at 12 Noon on Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at Popular Point Missionary Baptist Church in Williamston, NC with Pastor Brady Carmack officiating. Burial will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Williamston, NC.
