Mrs. Gladys Hudgins Price, 71, passed away on Wednesday, July 30, 2014. Mrs. Price was born in Martin County. She was a member of Back Swamp Church of Christ (DOC) in Williamston, NC. Survivors include two daughters, Paulette Simmons of New Jersey and Paula Annette Hudgins (adopted) of Manassas, VA; seven brothers, Wydell Hudgins of Goldsboro, NC, Dallas Hudgins of Colorado, Linwood Hudgins of Baltimore, MD, Leo Hudgins of Baltimore, MD, Clifton Hudgins of Baltimore, MD, William T. Hudgins of Williamston, NC, and Richard Hudgins of Fayetteville, NC; and six sisters, Mary Plummer of NJ, Doris Clemmons of Williamston, NC, Audrey Faye Hassell of Florida, Vivian Moore of Greenville, NC, Reola ValMudge of NJ, and Ruby J. Hudgins of Williamston, NC. The funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, August 2, 2014 at Back Swamp Church of Christ (DOC) in Williamston, NC with Pastor Derrick L. Wilkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Back Swamp Church Cemetery in Williamston, NC.
