Williamston, NC Mr. Guy Foster Bowen, 66, passed away on Wednesday, December 24, 2014 in Vidant Medical Center. Mr. Bowen was born in Martin County. He was a member of Mt. Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors include four children George Hollman of Brooklyn, NY, Zucchuni Bowen-Murphy of Brooklyn, NY, Shawn Coleman of Charlotte, NC & Geiaune Bowen of Brooklyn, NY; Son- in -law Anthony Murphy & daughter- in- law Kinshasha Coleman; 6 grandchildren Zy Hidalgo (Freddy) of Jacksonvillle, NC, Cherish, Khalil,& Janai Boyce all of Brooklyn, NY Kamaria & Amaris Coleman of Charlotte, NC and One great granddaughter Taylor Gaines of Jacksonville, NC. Four brothers: William Bowen Jr. of Compton, CA, Wayne Bowen of Atlanta, GA, Darren Bowen of Bronx, NY and Kelvin Bowen of Albany, NY; devoted partner Beulah Taylor, Three aunts: Bell, Corine, Odessa, one uncle: Robert and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and caring friends. A visitation will be held from 1-5 pm on Friday, January 2, 2015 at Manson Mortuary, Williamston, NC and from 12 Noon to 1 pm on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at Mt. Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church in Williamston, NC. The funeral will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at Mt. Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church in Williamston, NC with Rev. Vincent Price officiating. Burial will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Williamston, NC.
