Mr. Haywood L. Harris, age 90, passed away on July 13, 2021 in Vidant

Medical Center in Greenville, NC. He was a member of Back Swamp Church of Christ (DOC)

Church in Williamston, NC.

His survivors include his wife, Lucille G. Harris of Williamston, NC; four daughters, Muriel Harley and

Myra Garrett of Raleigh, NC, Millicent Rennick and Marissa Anderson of Charlotte, NC; one brother,

Walter M. Harris, Sr. of Williamston, NC; twelve grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

His viewing will be held on Saturday, July 17, 2021 from 11:00 am until 12 noon at Back Swamp Church of

Christ  (DOC) Church in Williamston, NC. A face covering is required upon entrance to the church.

His funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 17, 2021 at 12 noon at Back Swamp Church of Christ

(DOC) Church in Williamston, NC with Pastor Derrick L. Wilkins officiating. A face covering is mandatory

upon entrance to the church.

His interment will immediately follow the service at Woodlawn Cemetery in Williamston, NC.
