Mr. James Elbert Smithwick "Partner", age 64, passed away on Sunday,

April 22, 2018 in UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill, NC.

Mr. Smithwick was born in Martin County.

Survivors include his wife, Pamela Whitehurst Smithwick of Jamesville, NC;

two daughters, Keysha Smithwick of Jamesville, NC and Ashley Smith of

Williamston, NC; a brother, Eric Smithwick of Greenville, NC; a

sister, Carolyn Smithwick of Greenville, NC and five grandchildren.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at Manson

Mortuary from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm followed by a private interment at Goddard

Hill Church of Christ (DOD) Cemetery in Williamston, NC.
