His survivors include his father, Timothy Earl Purvis of Hassell, NC; mother, Pamela Barnes of Knightdale, NC; grandmother, Christine Purvis; paternal aunts and uncles, Beulah Peppers, Bertha Briley, Eva Butler, Michelle & Ben Wilson, Nicki Keel, Johnnie L. Council, Milton Howell, Kenneth & Sandra Purvis, and Steve Council; maternal aunts and uncles, Tammy & Danny Miller, Sheila Barnes, Armisscia & Jeffrey Fields, Whalean Barnes, Jr., Tony Barnes, Tracy Barnes, Precious & Jonathan Seabrooks, and Leetitiea Barnes; Godparents, Marvin Council & Jackie Bandy; and a host of cousins and friends.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2022 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Southcreek High School auditorium in Robersonville, NC.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at 2:00 pm at the Southcreek High School auditorium in Robersonville, NC with Pastor Gary Baker officiating.
His internment will immediately follow the service in the Council Cemetery in Bethel, NC.
