John Bennie Blakeney

Mr. John B. Blakeney, age 78, passed away on January 25, 2019 in Martin

General Hospital in Williamston, NC.

Survivors include two sons, Takis Blakeney-Harmon of Tulsa, OK and Shakeim

Louis Blakeney of Williamston, NC; two daughters, Kiota Blakeney of Brooklyn,

NY and Quatecia Blakeney of Williamston, NC; one brother, William

Haywood Burch of Charlotte, NC; two sisters, Creola Ezell of Charlotte, NC and

Wilma Rorie of Mt. Croghan, SC; and five grandchildren.

A viewing will be held on Friday, February 1, 2019 from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm

at Manson Mortuary and on Saturday, February 2, 2019 from 11:00 am until

12 noon at Manson Mortuary Chapel in Williamston, NC.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at 12 noon at

Manson Mortuary Chapel in Williamston, NC with Minister Frank Halsey, Jr.

officiating.

Interment will follow in the C. C. Keyes Family Cemetery in Williamston, NC.
