Williamston, NC Mr. Johnny William Rodgers, 67, passed away on Friday, July 5, 2013 at Vidant Health Center. Mr. Rodgers was born in Martin County. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife, Fe Rodgers of Robersonville, NC; one son Angelo J. Portal of Robersonville, NC; three daughters, Tina Rodgers of Williamston, NC, Johnnie Johnston of Williamston, NC, and Sheila Bowens of Robersonville, NC; three brothers, Timothy Rodgers, Sr. of Williamston, NC, Deford Rodgers of Williamston, NC, and Jimmy Rodgers of Williamston, NC; six sisters, Celia Brown of Williamston, NC, Ruby Rodgers of Williamston, NC, Betty Little of Williamston, NC, Rosa Rodgers of Williamston, NC, Clothilda Brown of Knightdale, NC, and Mildred Jones of Nash Co., NC; six grandchildren and one great grandchild. A visitation will be held from 1-6 p.m. on Friday, July 12, 2013 at Manson Mortuary, Williamston, NC, and on Saturday, July 13, 2013 from 1-2 p.m. at Cedar Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Williamston, NC. The funeral will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2013 at Cedar Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Williamston, NC with Father Bill Long officiating. Burial will follow in the Rodgers Family Cemetery.
