Josephine Brown Johnson

Williamston, N.C. Ms. Josephine Brown Johnson, 94, passed away on Tuesday, January 8, 2013 in Two Rivers Health Care Center. Ms. Johnson was born in Martin County. She was a member of Cedar Hill Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors include one daughter, Martha Peele of Vanceboro, NC, one brother, Walter Brown of Williamston, NC, one sister Eula Edwards of Greenville, NC, four grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and nine great great grandchildren. A visitation will be held from 1-3 p.m. on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at Manson Mortuary, Williamston, NC. The funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 13, 2013 at Cedar Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Williamston, NC with Rev. Roy Gray officiating. Burial will follow in the Hickory Grove Cemetery in Williamston, NC.
