Williamston, NC Mrs. Lillian Alice Cooper, 82, passed away on Sunday, March 9, 2014 in Martin General Hospital. Mrs. Cooper was born in Martin County. She was a member of Barnabas Baptist Church in Williamston, NC. Survivors include one son, Jones M. Cooper of Williamston, NC, one daughter, Chrystal M. Cooper-Prunty of Hope Mills, VA, one brother, Keith B. Jones of Boiling Spring, SC, three sisters, Velma J. Coffield of Boiling Sprng, SC, Olpha M. Cody of Newark, NJ, and Ruby S. White of Boiling Spring, SC; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. A visitation will be held from 1-6 pm on Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at Manson Mortuary, Williamston, NC and from 1-2 pm on Thursday, March 13, 2014 at Barnabas Baptist Church in Williamston, NC. The funeral will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, March 13, 2014 at Barnabas Baptist Church in Williamston, NC with Pastor Kenneth Matthews officiating. Burial will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Williamston, NC.
