Wiliamston, N.C. Ms. Mary Barfield, 80, passed away on Thursday, January 17, 2013 in Martin General Hospital. Ms. Barfield was born in Bertie County. She was a member of Mt. Shiloh Baptist Church in Williamston, NC. Survivors include two sons, Clifton E. Barfield of Williamston, NC and Styron Barfield of Williamston, NC; one daughter, Florell Anthony of Williamston, NC; one sister, Naomi Williams of Washington, DC; six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. A viewing will be held on Monday, January 21, 2013 from 1-5 p.m. at Manson Mortuary, Inc. in Williamston, NC and on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at 12 noon at Mt. Shiloh Baptist Church in Williamston, NC. There will be no viewing at the end of the service. The funeral will be held on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Mt. Shiloh Baptist Church in Williamston, NC with Pastor Vincent Price performing the eulogy. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery in Williamston, NC.
