Michael Eugene Bunch

Michael E. Bunch, MD, RPH, age 66, passed away on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at Vidant Medical Center in

Greenville, NC. He was a recently retired Medical Doctor and a Minister of Music at Back Swamp

Church of Christ (DOC) Church in Williamston, NC.

His survivors include two brothers, Maurice Bunch of Chesapeake, VA and Brian Bunch of Winston-Salem, NC;

one sister, Carolyn Bunch of Windsor, NC and one adopted sister, Alyce Purcell of Newport News, VA.

His walk through viewing will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2021 from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm at Manson

Mortuary in Williamston, NC. A face mask is mandatory upon entrance to the building. Another walk through

viewing will be held on Sunday, October 10, 2021 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Back Swamp Church of Christ

(DOC) Church in Williamston, NC. A face mask is mandatory upon entrance to the building.

His funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 10, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Back Swamp Church of Christ (DOC)

Church in Williamston, NC with Pastor Derrick L. Wilkins officiating. A face mask is mandatory upon entrance to the building.

There will be a private interment.

Potted plants will be accepted, but in lieu of flowers monetary donations may be made to Michael E. Bunch Memorial Scholarship
