Mr. Alvin Green Whitehurst, 87, passed away on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at home.
Mr. Whitehurst was born in Bertie County, North Carolina.
Survivors include his wife, Priscella B. Whitehurst of Williamston, NC; two sons, Keith Edmunds and Steven Whitehurst of Illinois; two daughters, Alvia W. Allen and Elnoria Hilliard of Illinois; two sisters, Alice Edmunds of Newark, Delaware and Costeen Barber of Philadelphia, PA; and eight grandchildren.
A visitation will be held from 1-6 pm on Friday, February 19, 2016 at Manson Mortuary, Williamston, NC and from 11-12 Noon on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at United Holy Church of Deliverance in Williamston, NC.
The funeral will be held at 12 Noon on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at United Holy Church of Deliverance in Williamston, NC with Pastor Ricardo Hardison officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery in Williamston, NC.
