Mrs. Sandra Elaine Peele Hassell, 60, passed away on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 in Vidant Health Center in Greenville, NC.
Mrs. Hassell was born in Pitt County. She joined Barabas Baptist Church in Williamston, NC at an early age.
Survivors include her husband, Velt "Jerome" Hassell of Williamston, NC; mother, Lorraine W. Peele of Williamston, NC; step daughter, Shontae Hassell of Washington, NC; three brothers, Brent Peele of Columbia, SC, Dallas Peele of Williamston, NC and Floyd Peele of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; and one grandchild, Alessia.
A visitation will be held from 4-6 pm on Sunday, March 12, 2017 at Manson Mortuary, Williamston, NC and on Monday, March 13, 2017 from 12 Noon to 1 pm at Union Town Church of Christ (DOC) in Jamesville, NC.
The funeral will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, March 13, 2017 at Union Town Church of Christ (DOC) in Jamesville, NC with Rev. Gregory Boston officiating. Burial will follow in the Peele Cemetery in Williamston, NC.
