Mr. Olan C. Brown, age 81, passed away on December 31, 2019 in Sayville Nursing and Rehabilitation

Center in Sayville, New York.  He was a former resident of Williamston, NC and a former member of

Williams Chapel AME Zion Church in Williamston, NC.  He was a member of the E J Hayes Class of

1957.

His survivors include a daughter, Terri Brooks of  Brentwood, NY; one brother, Joe Carney Brown of

Williamston, NC;  four sisters, Alice B. Moore of Kinston, NC, Brenda B. Walker of Detroit, MI,

Francine B. Williams of Greenville, NC and Clemmenette B. Bond of Williamston, NC; and

two grandchildren.

His viewing will be held on Thursday, January 9, 2020 from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm at

Manson Mortuary in Williamston, NC and on Friday, January 10, 2020 from 10:00 am until

11:00 am at Williams Chapel AME Zion Church in Williamston, NC.

His funeral service will be held on Friday, January 10, 2020 at 11:00 am at

Williams Chapel AME Zion Church, 119 Rhodes Street in Williamston, NC, with

Pastor Ingrid Hackett officiating.

Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery in Williamston, NC.
