Williamston, NC Mrs. Pollie Alvania Moore Bell, 101, passed away on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at the Brian Center Health and Rehabilitation Center. Mrs. Bell was born in Martin County. She was a member of Goddard Hill Church of Christ (DOC) in Williamston, NC. Survivors include two sons, James Russell Bell of Washington, DC, and Lee Bell of Sumpter, SC; six daughters, Lenora Livingston of Williamston, NC, Mary Jones of Chesapeake, VA, Velma Cooke of Philadelphia, PA, Pauline Baker of Williamston, NC, Mendee Roberson of Greenville, NC and Ida C. Pugh of Brooklyn, NY; one brother, John Moore of Michigan; one daughter-in-law Nancy Bell of Greenville, NC; one grandson, Timothy Andrews (raised in home as son in Greensboro, NC); and numerous grandchildren. A visitation will be held from 1-5 pm on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at Manson Mortuary, Williamston, NC and from 12 Noon to 1:00 pm on Thursday, December 18, 2014 at Goddard Hill Church of Christ (DOC) in Williamston, NC. The funeral will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, December 18, 2014 at Goddard Hill Church of Christ (DOC) in Williamston, NC with Bishop Melvin Bunch officiating. Burial will follow in the Goddard Hill Cemetery in Williamston, NC.
