Richard Ore

Williamston, NC Mr. Richard Ore, 78, passed away on Thursday, September 12, 2013 at Vidant Medical Center. Mr. Ore was born in Martin County. He was a member of Back Swamp Church of Christ. Survivors include his wife, Shirley Ore of Williamston, NC; two sons, Michael Ore and Lyndon Ore both of Williamston, NC; three brothers, Ralph Ore, Darnell Ore, and Frankie Ore all of Williamston, NC; three sisters, Phefie Small of Windsor, NC, Josephine Mullins of Va Beach, VA, and Ophelia Reid of Winston Salem, NC; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. A viewing will be held on Monday, September 16, 2013 from 1-5 p.m. at Manson Mortuary in Williamston, NC. The funeral will be held on Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Back Swamp Church of Christ (DOC) Williamston, NC with Pastor Derrick L. Wilkins officiating. Viewing will be held at the end of the service. Burial will follow in the Ore Family Cemetery in Williamston, NC.
