Williamston, NC Mr. Roscoe Harris, 88, passed away on Sunday, November 16, 2014 in Vidant Beaufort Hospital. Mr. Harris was born in Martin County. He was a member of Mt. Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors include his son, Adam Harris of Savannah, Georgia; two daughters, Martel Eley of Maryland, and Roslyn Harris of Newport News, Va; one sister, Mollierose Carpentar of Birmingham, AL; three grandchildren and one great grandchild. A visitation will be held from 1-6 pm on Friday, November 21, 2014 at Manson Mortuary, Williamston, NC. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at Mt. Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church in Williamston, NC with Rev. Ernest Brooks, III officiating. Viewing will follow the funeral service. Burial will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery, Williamston, NC.
