Williamston, NC Mr. Shannon "Maurice" Manning, 40, passed away on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 in Martin General Hospital. Mr. Manning was born in Pennsylvania. He was the owner of Manning Construction. Survivors include his wife, Deborah B. Manning of Greenville, NC; his parents, Corinthian Manning, Sr. and Gloria M. Roberson and Rudolph Roberson, (step-father) of Williamston, NC; three sons, Maurice T. Manning of Williamston, NC, Shyheim Maurice Manning of Greenville, NC and step-son Taquan Jones of Greenville, NC; and three brothers, Corinthian Brown of Williamston, NC, Richard Cornell Manning of Williamston, NC, and Jeffrey "Sean" Manning of Williamston, NC. A viewing will be held at Manson Mortuary on Wednesday, January 7 from 1-5 pm and on Thursday, January 8 from 10-11:00 am at Cedar Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Williamston, NC. The funeral will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2015 at 11:00 am at Cedar Hill Missionary Baptist Church with Elder Trev Evans doing the eulogy. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery in Williamston, NC.
