Williamston, NC Mrs. Shirley Mae Brown Rogers, 70, passed away on Thursday, January 30, 2014 in her home. Mrs. Rogers was born in Martin County. She was a member of New Life Ministry and was a greeter at Wal-Mart. Survivors are four brothers; James Brown of Wilson, NC, William Brown of Williamston, NC, Willis Clyde Brown of Everetts, NC and Thomas Brown of Greenville, NC. Also, two sisters; Joyce Brown and Janice Brown of Williamston, NC. A visitation will be held on Monday, February 3, 2014 from 1-5 p.m. at Manson Mortuary, Inc in Williamston and from 1-2 p.m. on Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at New Life Ministry, Hwy 125, Williamston, NC. There will be no viewing at the end of the service. The funeral will be held on Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at New Life Ministry in Williamston, NC with Pastor Anthony Grice officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery in Williamston, NC.
