Williamston, NC Ms. Vera Louise Brown, 89, passed away on Friday, March 6, 2015 in Philadelphia, PA. Ms. Brown was born in Martin County. She was a member of Back Swamp Church of Christ (DOC). Survivors include one son, Lorenzo Brown of Orlando, Florida; one daughter, Evelyn Bond of Philadelphia, PA; two sisters, Mary Joyner of Williamston, NC and Gladys Jones of Charlotte, NC; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. A visitation will be held from 1-5 pm on Friday, March 13, 2015 at Manson Mortuary, Williamston, NC and from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at Back Swamp Church of Christ (DOC) in Williamston, NC. The funeral will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at Back Swamp Church of Christ (DOC) in Williamston, NC with Elder Derrick L. Wilkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Oddfellow Cemetery in Williamston, NC.
