Verna Lee Rodgers

Williamston, NC Mrs. Verna Lee Rodgers, 82, passed away on Thursday, March 29, 2012 in Martin General Hospital. Mrs. Rodgers was born in Martin County. She was a member of Chapel Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Williamston, NC. Survivors include two daughters, Frances Mitchell and Sandra Land both of Rahway, NJ; a brother, Waverly Outerbridge of Greenville, NC; and one grandchild. A visitation will be held from 1-5 p.m. on Monday, April 2, 2012 at Manson Mortuary in Williamston, NC and from 11 a.m. to 12 noon on Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at Chapel Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Williamston, NC. The funeral will be held at 12 noon on Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at Chapel Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Williamston, NC with Rev. Rondy Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Williamston, NC.
